Mr. Spear offers the following thematic
programs, all of which include music
and most satisfy Kansas educational
standards and QPAs:
• The Joy of Reading (Bob is a
published author of eleven books).
He tells stories and explains how
they come from reading.
• Underground Railroad/Selma
March (Bob’s Quaker ancestors were
conductors in Indiana and he was at
the Selma March). This is a perennial
favorite and has audiences literally
jumping out of their seats.
• Hispanic Stories (meet coyote, Cucuy and others)
• Native American Stories and
Flute Music (the wooden Indian
courting flute has a beautifully
haunting sound)
• Halloween Humorous and Jump
Tales (not too scary)
• Programs can be custom tailored
to the needs of the organization. Just
ask and allow us enough time to put it
together.
